I found this series on the bargain list, and quickly read all five books. They are well written and fast-paced, with interesting plots. I especially enjoyed the author's notes on his writing process and the trials and tribulations of publishing. At the end of the last one, he promises to write another Alex Balfour novel if enough people buy the first five. So spread the word about this wonderful series!Product details

Till the End of Time Volume Three in the Pastmaster Series eBook Allen Appel Reviews
This is the third book in the series. The first I thought was very good, the second was also good, but the this one, the third, seemed more contrived and less well plotted. Too much time spend on one battle sequence. Still, I have downloaded the fourth book because I am interested to see where the author takes the story line and how he resolves an event in this book he states in a post script that he regrets writing.
I love time travel novels, and this is a book that's from a series that are my favorites. You get a sense of actually knowing historic personalities as if you have met them yourself. This was a very enjoyable read )
